Kahli Gaskin, a seasoned Writer/Director, commands a remarkable presence in the film industry, boasting an illustrious career that spans decades and continents. Since the roaring ’90s, Kahli has been an unstoppable force, leaving an indelible mark on every project she touches. From her auspicious beginnings as costume assistant on “Eyes Wide Shut”, and locations on “The King’s Speech,” “Imitation Game,” and “Contagion” to her recent work on acclaimed productions like “Hotel Mumbai,” “Escape from Pretoria,” “Stateless,” “Cargo,” “2067” and “Desert King” Kahli’s track record speaks for itself.

However, it is in the realm of writing and directing where Kahli’s brilliance truly shines. Beginning her journey as a songwriter, she has since crafted numerous short films and commercial clips, as well as the feature project “VENUS,” showcased at a work-in-progress screening at the esteemed Wallis Piccadilly. Kahli directed the 1995 documentary “Love is Love,” which chronicled the inception of the Sydney Mardi-Gras and aired on ABC.

Beyond her cinematic contributions, Kahli’s creativity extends to literary realms, with works ranging from the captivating debut novel “Sycophant” to enchanting children’s books and visionary concepts like the award-shortlisted “Violette World.” Her diverse portfolio attests to her boundless imagination and unwavering dedication to storytelling.
